Magic is all in how you see the world.<br /><br />Sandra and Sabine, you are very kind.<br /><br />Robin, it isn't easy to write "one size has to fit all for now" queries, and there are certainly some agents and publishers who are turned off by them. However, as a writer, I have to carefully balance my time between writing and promoting what I've written. I suppose what I mean to say is, query letters should always be targeted to the audience, but it's also important not to lose too much time on the minor details when all you want to do is get someone's attention initially.
