Untamed Hearts Virtual Tour with Yahrah St. John

Welcome to day four of the Untamed Hearts Virtual Tour with Yahrah St. John!  I hope you’ve enjoyed the tour so far!

Today, Yahrah is sharing what her idea of a perfect romantic evening.

My perfect romantic evening would be a candlelit dinner at a restaurant on the beach, followed by a walk on the beach and ending with a romantic night at a B&B with a bubble bath and champagne. I nearly had it in St Augustine FL last year but as is true summer weather, it rained so we didn't get our walk on the beach. The next morning, we rose early and watched the sunrise on the balcony.  It was a wonderful evening.

About the Book

An untamed heart…

RYLEE HART has always been unconventional, choosing veterinarian medicine over the traditional role of rancher’s wife and mother. To appease her parents, Rylee accompanies her father’s perfect pick for a spouse to the Kentucky Derby, but the match generates no sparks. But the moment she steps foot on the hallowed grounds of the Derby track and meets sexy billionaire and media tycoon Amar Bishop – a sheik’s son, all bet’s are off. Amar makes his intentions clear; he intends to have her…even if it means annihilating the competition.

A disarming prince…

Cast-off by his father as illegitimate, Amar spurned love and chose casual flings, until he encounters alluring Rylee Hart. But Rylee rejects his advances not eager to be one of the noble heir’s latest conquests, which only fuels the playboy’s desires. When Amar finally claims her, he vows to possess her. But when family tragedy strikes Amar and duty calls…will it signal the end of their love affair? Or the beginning?

  6. NO CELL PHONES
Candlelit seafood dinner for two on a private boat. After we feed each other succulent shrimp and crab legs we move to pillows placed on the deck. We enjoy strawberries, chocolate and whipped cream and champagne as we watch the sunset. The evening culminates with us exploring the joy found in discovering our new love.

  9. Dinner on the balcony of a cruise ship watching the sunset, a glass of wine and Teddy P singing softly in the background. Followed by a nice walk around the upper deck seeing God beauty giving thanks for dinner , the man and the cruise.

  10. A cruise is very romantic. My boyfriend and I recently went on one in May to the Caymans and Cozumel and it gave us a romance boost. Secretly, would love to be like my character Rylee in Untamed Hearts and have an encounter on the balcony. Maybe on a cruise? LOL.

  11. I love surprises and when the man has every detail taken care of. It doesn't have to be expensive just romantic. Just like when your kids make you a gift instead of buying one...it is more meaningful. I would love for him to pack a nice picnic with some of the foods being aphrodisiac...to stimulate the mood. It would be cool if he went old school with a mixed tape with all of our favorite songs...or a modern day playlist would do...lol! Our picnic could take place in a park under a blanket of stars. Dessert would be chocolate mousse that we feed to each other. To walk off all the food we ate, we would take a nice walk holding hands. The wonderful evening would end with us making passionate love while we declare our feelings for each other.

  12. Nakia, it's funny that you should mention a picnic. I recently shared this idea with my boyfriend because in nearly 3 years of dating we've never had a picnic. Of course, it's hard to do with the Florida afternoon showers and hot temps. I'm hoping when the weather cools a bit in the next 2 months, we can make it happen. Great suggestion. I would add while we're on the blanket, we could reach each other poetry or perhaps something steamy...like a passage from one of my love scenes. LOL>

  13. No cell phones would be part of my perfect date too. Just laughing and having a good time would add to my enjoyment.

  14. Hi Sheila. Thanks for joining. What I love about a vacation or romantic getaway is not brining my cell phone. There's nothing better than getting away from it all and relaxing with just the two of you. Even with my writing, I have to go upstairs to my office and leave my phone downstairs. It's the only way I can focus without distractions.
