FEATURED AUTHOR - Tracy Foster

SORMAG: Please give the readers a brief bio on you the person and the writer.

Tracy Foster:
I’m creative, outgoing, and obviously love writing. I’ve been living in St. Louis for 4 years and everyday I live life to its fullest.

SORMAG: Tell us about your current book?

FOSTER:
This Bitch Is Crazy is a fast paced, easy to read dramedy filled with wild escapades, mischief and a little sex. Clarke Harvey, a thirty-something woman has made a mess of her charmed life and doesn’t know-or want to know-how to fix it. Readers will not be disappointed.

SORMAG: What would you like your readers to take away from your book?

FOSTER:
My book is a roller coaster ride of incredible events, and it’s funny as hell. I hope that readers will like that the characters are authentic in their pursuits giving my book a realistic feel. I want readers to identify with Clarke. Truth be told there’s a little of her in all of us.

SORMAG: What do you do to make time for yourself?

FOSTER:
I turn off the phone, the tv, and enjoy the silence.

SORMAG: Do you do anything to promote family literacy?

FOSTER:
I volunteer at a reading program for school age children.

SORMAG: How did it feel to hold your first book?

FOSTER:
Its hard to put into words, saying I was ecstatic is an understatement. I felt like I had accomplished a huge dream and to think that it’s just getting started is unbelievable.

SORMAG: What aspect of writing do you love the best, and which do you hate the most?

FOSTER:
I love writing not only does it relax me but it also allows me to share my stories with others. And I don’t feel pressured to keep writing. As of now there are no complaints about sitting down and putting my thoughts on paper.

SORMAG: What’s something you wish you’d known earlier that might have saved you some time/frustration in the publishing business?

FOSTER:
Persistence, persistence, persistence.

SORMAG: Why did you choose the self publishing route?

FOSTER:
I wanted to make sure that my first book was going to be done without any compromises, so for me self-publishing fit my plan. Not only that, I want Foster House Publishing to serve as a vehicle for other authors who are interested in getting their work published as well.

SORMAG: How can readers get in contact with you? (mail, email, website)

FOSTER:

Hi Tracy,
Enjoyed the interview...Has Foster House Publishing release any other books besides, The Bitch is Crazy?
I was also wondering if FHP was going to publish one genre, or a mixture of genres also.
Congratulations on TBIC and much success on all of your literary endeavors.

Love & Peace,
VeeJay
