Michael Crichton, author of many bestselling novels, including Jurassic Park and The Andromeda Strain, died Tuesday. He was 66.

It was sad to hear this; but when it's our time, it's our time. That's the one appointment you can't cancel. Those of us left behind have to make sure our houses are in order.
