BEAUTIFUL UGLY by Shelia E. Lipsey

The characters were so well-developed that they became my "girlfriends in my head". After the first few chapters; I had to keep reading until the book ended.

Wild Seed by Octavia Butler. It kept me up til one in the morning. It was so out of the box writing and a deep look into humanity. I've read it twice.

Thank you.

The last two books that touched me deeply in recent weeks were The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein and Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See.

WOW! So many great reads this summer...I agree with Rhonda and Gather Together in My Name by Tracy Price Thompson - the details, drama and suspense was EXCELLENT!

I read a steamy romance last night - Sizzling Seduction by Gwyneth Bolton - the 4th installment of the Hightower brothers and I believe Patrick is HOT! Nothing like a man in uniform - a firefighters uniform.

Then Dubious by Tina Brooks McKinney - has the most original storyline that I've read in a long long time. But you have to keep a open mind in regards to the subject matter.

THE SACRED CIPHER by Terry Brennan, a new book from Kregel Publications

It's the best action adventure/Indiana Jones type book I've ever read.
