Hearts Blog Tour with Victoria Wells

Getting to Know Victoria Wells

Do you believe in love at first sight?

Hmm…I believe two people can have a very strong affinity for one another that leads to love almost immediately.

Do you believe it is proper for people to express their romantic feelings in public?

Yes, I certainly do. Affection can be publicly displayed without being inappropriate. I don’t see anything wrong with a tender kiss, a gentle touch or a lingering stare.

If you could create the absolute perfect job for yourself, what would it be?

Since I love being a nurse and writing, my perfect job would be to work from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in my current job as a nurse practitioner. I’d break for lunch from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. After lunch I’d head home to my office and write for at least four hours straight without any interruptions.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

When people lie about stupid stuff! Uggggh! Drives me bonkers!

What three words best describe you?

Passionate, silly, and loyal.

What is the most important part of a relationship?

Trust. When you give your trust to someone in essence you’re giving them a piece of your soul. You’re putting your faith in them to do what is in the best interest of the relationship. I strongly believe once the trust in a relationship is abused, it’s almost impossible to repair such a breach.

Great interview! And Victoria I believe in public affection also...not sloppy displays...but little actions like holding hands.

Hey Yasmin,

Glad you enjoyed the interview. When folks are out in public all over each other sometimes I just want to scream "get a room!" LOL
Thanks for stopping by :)

I also believe in public affection, as long as it's tasteful. Like Victoria said, sometimes you wanna scream get a room! LOL

It's nice to show the world that you love someone and they love you back.

Thanks for stopping by Yasmin!!!

Nice interview and I look forward to reading your latest book as I enjoyed your writing.

I too agree with the other comments that public affection is wonderful. it is also good for children to see this so they can grow up with an understanding on one of the things that makes a healthy relationship.

Victoria,

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I love to see couples holding hands. You rarely see that anymore.

Hey Vic,

This is Dee, and you know that I am a hopeless romantic from the crown of my head to the bottom of my feet, and so holding hands and parting hugs and kisses are wonderful and sweet. I also agree that making out in public is very disgusting and does not show love at all but instead lust! Well, just wanted to stop by and say hey to one of my favorite authors! Two days and counting....Can't Wait!

Hey Ladies.

Thanks for leaving your comments. Looks like we all see eye to eye when it comes to showing affection in public. Beverly I totally agree with you on the importance of children seeing healthy displays of affection.

JayMom I would have to say my favorite Valentine's Day was the year my husband took me to Vegas. It was really romantic seeing all the couples going to the wedding chapels. Some were dressed in fancy wedding attire, while other were in everyday clothes. We had so much fun going to the shows, sightseeing, and yes playing the slots for a hot minute (we don't like losing money.) Vegas really has an energy like no other city I've ever been to. Wish I could go back this Valentine's Day.

Hey Victoria,

I enjoyed the interview. Some public affection is good, but sometimes I want to tell them that children are present. I think that your writing style also reflect the characteristics that you used to describe yourself.

Luigia.

I thank you for writing these addictive love stories.

I wanna tell all those romantic souls don't know you yet to waste no time and rush to the nearest library.
It's not needed to praise you since your own books do it.

Victoria is fantastic but her romances more than how words can say.
