Delicious Destiny Virtual Tour with Yahrah St. John

At Last

This song is more personal in nature because of I think of myself. You see, I had been single for some time. I had gone out on so many bad dates over the years, none of which amounted to a real committed relationship. There was plenty of fun, but not a lot of substance. I’d tried meeting someone in person, through friends, clubs, online and nothing worked. I was beginning to feel like I would be single forever. So I decided to turn my negative into a positive. I wrote a book about my failed dating and relationships titled: Dirty Laundry. The book was women’s fiction and a stray from contemporary romances, but it was cathartic to write about my dating woes with a humorous twist so I could let go of the past and focus on the future. When I gave up on finding love in 2011 is when I met and fell in love with my boyfriend of almost two years. I decided to try online dating one more time and one week into trying again, I met the man would later turn out to the be the one for me. Our first date was great from the start. We had a lot in common and he was easy on the eyes. It didn’t take long for one date-to-turn to two and so on. October will mark our 2 year anniversary, but long before then I’d heaved a sigh and said…At Last….

About the Book

Sweet secrets…

It has been almost five years since Shari Drayson graduated college—almost five years since she had her heart broken. Now the only man in her life is her cherished son, Andre. But her life is full, and her family's bakery is about to appear in a baking competition on national TV. Who needs love when you've got pastries?

Sweetest seduction…

When Grant Robinson finally tracks Shari down in Chicago, he expects she will still be beautiful. He expects she will still be smart. What he doesn't expect is her four-year-old son—who looks exactly like him. The wealthy restaurateur is stunned, and his anger wars with passion for the woman he has never truly forgotten. Determined to claim what is his, Grant insists they marry at once. But his bride soon realizes she's at risk for another heartbreak. Can Grant's skillful form of persuasion change her mind and convince her that his love is all she really needs?

So glad you all enjoyed Delicious Destiny. It was a lot of fun to write. I had to learn a lot about baking. Thanks to Sweet Tastings bakery for allowing me access into their kitchen. :-)

I can't believe it's almost 2 years for me and my sweetie, but we're stronger than ever. I hope everyone can find that special someone.
