Author Spotlight - Patricia Anne Phillips





Patricia Anne Phillips is a romance writer that has written eight novels and an anthology. She self-published her first novel with Milligan Books and sold over 10,000 copies. She went mainstream with her next four novels, which are published by Dafina/Kensington; June In Winter was featured in Romantic Times as Best Multicultural and Best First Multicultural Romance. Nice Wives Finish First is selling in Brazil under the title Apaixonada pela Vida. Her sixth novel No Turning Back was released in 2008, and her seventh novel Back To Basic was released April 2009. 


June In Winter depicts a romantic, unexpected second chance at love. After twenty five years of marriage, a fifty-year-old man leaves his wife for a younger women in Nice Wives Finish First. Last Bride Standing take readers on a journey as they visualize the little town of Thika with the sights, smells and excitement through their own eyes. PatriciaĆ¢€™s has also written an anthology under Urban Books, titled Secret Lovers. Her new novels Baldwin Hills Housewives and Falling In The Deep was released in May 2013. 

Although her stories are fictional, the character present a familiar and realistic place which readers can compare to their personal lives. Her characters tend to be someone that we all love or hate.

Thanks for this information, I see I have missed three of Ms Phillips books. I need to locate her first novel, always thought June In Winter which came out in 2003 was her first. Love that book, to date Nice Wives Finish First is my favorite book by Ms. Phillips.
