I'm horrible at remembering names with faces...

I'm pretty sure that's Frederick Douglas on the end there.

I better quit while I'm ahead! ;)

And I think Ann Clay is there, too! :)

(Okay I really will give up now... Hope this encourages a few others to post the correct answers.) :)

Is the first person Angela Benson, then there is Gwendolyn Brooks, the third person is it Jacqueline Thomass and the last person is of course Frederick Douglass.

Congrats Candace.

This contest has be real embarassed because I can only recognize the older authors. Notice I didn't even try last week. This week James Baldwin and Phyllis Bourne Williams (since she is the featured author). You are good girlfriend.

Don't feel badly Connie. I'm in the same boat! I struggled last week trying to come up with the 4th name (Bettye Griffin). Even went searching around the net. The first three were a breeze. This week, beyond James Baldwin, I'm definitely challenged. But this is good.

Who were the authors for the week of Feb 15th? (or is the contest open until someone guesses correctly)?

LaShaunda said...

Hi Patricia,

I'm keeping the contest open until the 28th. So there are still two chances to win.

Congrats Gwyneth!

Send me your snail mail.

We have one more group of pictures to guess. FEB 15th.

You have to tomorrow.

PatriciaW said...

Okay. I've got a definite 2 out of 4. I'm going to try really hard to come up with the other two.

PatriciaW said...

Okay. I give. I must have googled over 100 sista writers yesterday trying to identify the last picture. Couldn't find her. Didn't know there were so many of us. Definitely need to expand my reading list.

Here's what I have: James Baldwin, Unknown, Maureen Smith, Phyllis Bourne Williams
